The Euro-Mediterranean area requires poetry and policy. They will meld voices, movements, acts, rituals, lines and colours which prevail on this sea and feed a creativity more tender than the Gothic style of the north and the surrealism that follows postmodernism in its freedom and experiences. The Mediterranean craves to become again the cradle of civilisation that would put Greece and Italy, Spain and Morocco, Israel and Turkey at the pace of sounds, veins and regimes of life on the nature of which people are not fond of speaking for fear of being likened to dreamers or prophets. To restore the dream is needed by the Mediterranean to calm its storms and communicate its great awakening.
