Celine Assayag
Description
Vision
I believe that writing and reading shapes our consciousnesses. Literature is an essential part of my life and that is what I would try to convey to any person wherever he is
Activity
I came to writing at a relatively late age - 44
Until that age I was engaged in mechanical engineering. At the same time, I studied a bachelor's degree in philosophy and a master's degree in Hebrew literature with a focus on writing. I edit the source literature in Yedioth Books and lead writing workshops.

Biography
Celine is a mother of two daughters.
She grew up and lives in the city of Bat Yam, which is an Israeli social periphery next to Tel Aviv. The city is a major interest in its writing. Her books bring to Hebrew literature topics that are almost non-existent in it. Starting with a mixed family - an Ashkenazi father and a Mizrahi mother and ending with employees who are on the margins of society.
