Teaching Hebrew within the framework of the Avraham agreements

Vision

In the spirit of the Avraham agreements, we want to promote a better understanding between the Arab Muslim and Christian populations wishing to develop relations with the Israelis. At first we propose to broadcast Hebrew lessons to facilitate direct contacts at all levels.

Activity

- Promote the study of spoken Hebrew among Arab populations

-Improve the relations between our two peoples

- Promote direct and warm human contacts and allow a better discovery of Hebrew and Israeli culture

- Promote the discovering of  the Israeli society

- Create groups of unofficial representatives in their respective countries.

Classes will be in small groups of  until 10 participants

-The courses will be given on an audiovisual platform from Israel and through sessions physical by a representative of our school on site.

-A bibliography will be made available to participants

-A dictionary of Hebrew-Arabic-French terms and expressions is being developed in the framework of the project.

Biography

Mr. Daniel Azenkot holds a master's degree from the University of Haifa in the field of the history of the Land of Israel. He was for many years director of a tour guide course within the School of Tourism. The course emphasizes knowledge of different religions, different minorities in the State of Israel and was attended by members of different religions. Daniel led these courses with the aim of creating bridges and a warm relationship between the different participants. Daniel an expert in  the culture of Arab communities  and has been active for about 35 years in a group that plays Judeo-Arabic music.
