Description
Vision
To produce a much-needed book: an anthology of Sephardic/Mizrahi writings from the 1890s to the present. Most authors remain unknown Sephardic/Mizrahi intellectuals whose writings are important representation of the times and lives of Jewish communities in the Arab world whose history has not been fully written yet.
Activity
To gather and translate to Hebrew primary texts by Middle Eastern Jews in Arabic, French and English and write and a synthesis to make sense of them conceptually and historically.

Moshe Behar is Senior Lecturer in Middle eastern Studies at the University of Manchester.
Zvi Ben Dor-Benite is Professor of History at New York University
