CONTINUUM, literary journal of the Israeli French language writers

Quoted in the Editorial of the Continuum 1/2002

Description

Vision

Continuum is an Israeli literary journal published yearly in Tel Aviv since 2002 representing French language Israeli writers. It aims at serving as an important link between the Israeli writers that express themselves in the French language, the French writers living in France or in francophone countries and the Israeli Hebrew language writers. This is achieved through publishing translations of texts.

Activity

Continuum is a thematic yearly journal focused on Israeli francophone literature. Some literary writings, some very personal points of view by Israeli writers and Jewish writers from France or elsewhere are included in each issue.

Every year, the journal is distributed in Israel, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada etc.

Continuum is generally  launched at Le Foyer Book Shop in Tel Aviv, at the Vice-Versa book shop in Jerusalem and at the Institut francais d'Israel.

During the international Salon de la revue, beside the stand we have every year, we organize a Table Ronde inside the Espace des Blancs Manteaux with the participation of some of the authors who contributed to the issue.

The next issue Continuum 20 is to be published by December 2022 and will be presented as usual at the Salon de la Revue in Paris, in October 2023. Our next issue  will represent an Anthology  of our previous issues published all over the years.
